Visiting Lydia (Allison & Stiles)

This Thread Takes Place During Lydia's Hospital Stay At The End Of S1

Allison walked through the halls of the Beacon Hills Hospital slowly, watching the nurses as they walked in and out of patients rooms. It had been a couple days after Lydia had been attacked and she still wasn't awake. Allison had called Lydia's parents and asked if she could come visit her friend. Allison worried about Lydia, she had been attacked by Peter, an alpha, who now was dead. Allison sighed as she thought about all that had happened in this past week. She now knew what Scott was....but still loved him. 'No Allison, don't think of Scott, you're here for Lydia' She told herself as she made her way down towards Lydia's room. The door was shut and a nurses cart resided outside of it. Allison figured someone must be checking on her. She turned to her left and chuckled as she saw Stiles asleep in a hospital chair. She figured that Stiles would have been here, but not this much. Allison walked over to Stiles and gently nudged his arm. "Hey, Stiles wake up."

Lydia walked up to Stiles smiling wide and she tucked her hair back behind her ear. She put her hand on his cheek and looked into his eyes smiling. Stiles grinned as he slept, he was having one of his usually Lydia "fantasy" Dreams until suddenly he felt someone nudge his arm and he woke up quickly flailing his arms around. "What?!" He looked around wide eyed, it had scared him because the dream felt so real and it was soooo good. He finally looked and saw Allison. "Oh, hey Allison." He said to her after rubbing his eyes ad yawning. He stretched his arms out and looked around.

Allison laughed loudly at Stiles as he flailed his arms around. Allison wondered what Stiles was dreaming about that made him jump so much as she woke him up. She smiled at him before pointing to the seat next to him. "Mind if I sit? I came to see Lydia but i guess a nurse or doctor is with her." Allison motions toward the door and chuckles. "How long have you been here?"

Stiles looked at Allison as she laughed at him. He shook his head at her "Go ahead." He looked at the door as she pointed and looked back at her. "Uhhh all week." He looked around because he was a little bit embarrassed by the fact that he hadn't left in days. He just wanted to make sure that Lydia was okay.

Allison's eyes widened a little as Stiles told her that he had been here at the hospital the whole time. Allison cleared her throat as she sat down next to Stiles and crossed her legs. She bit her lip a little not sure what to say and then sighed. Putting her elbow on the arm rest of the chair Allison looked at Stiles. He looked tired...and like he really needed a shower. "Stiles...you could go home you know. Lydia is safe here."

Stiles yawned once more, he was still tired. He wished that he was still dreaming and that he could end that AMAZING dream. He let out a soft sigh and looked over at her. He looked at his old clothes noticing that it might be a good idea to go home and freshen up, but what about Lydia? He wanted to be there when she woke up. "I know... but...."

As Stiles began to speak Allison interrupted him and put her hand on his arm. "I'll stay here if you wanna go home and take a nap and freshen up Stiles. I won't leave her alone." Allison smiled slightly at Stiles just as she heard the door to Lydia's hospital open slowly. Her head turned towards the door and she stood up as a nurse walked out with Lydia's parents.

Stiles nodded at Allison but jumped up turning his head quickly as the door opened. He walked quickly over to them away from Allison. "Is she okay? What's going on? Is she awake? What can you tell me?" He asked as many questions as he could hoping to get all of them answered. He was worried and wanted to know what was going on.

As she watched Stiles rush over and bombard Lydia's parents with questions Allison stayed where she was and crossed her arms as she tried to concentrate on what Lydia's parents were talking to the doctor about and how they would answer Stiles' questions. As they calmly explained that Lydia still hadn't waken up Allison slowly walked over towards them. The door to Lydia's room was still open a little and Allison peeked into it. The curtain around Lydia's bed was pulled closed all the way and Allison could see her best friend laying in the bed not moving hooked up to machines. Frowning slightly as she stood next to Stiles Allison looked at Lydia's mom. She could see the worry in her eyes. Allison couldn't even begin to understand how she felt right now in this moment. "Do they know when she might wake up?" The words came out in a hushed tone and Allison kept her arms crossed over her chest as she waited for Lydia's mom to respond.

Stiles listened to Lydia's parents closely and sighed as he heard that she was not yet awake. He just wanted to see her. He nodded at them as they spoke and looked over as Allison spoke softly and was glad she did because he was wondering exactly the same. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he stood there awkwardly waiting for a response. He hoped that it would be soon so he could see Lydia's angel like face once again. He blamed himself for what had happened to her, well himself and Jackson for being so stupid all night. Everything Jackson had done was stupid.

As Allison and Stiles stood there Lydia's mom explained to them both that the doctors still weren't sure exactly when Lydia would wake up. 'She must have been hurt worse then I thought....' Allison thought as she shifted her weight onto her left leg. Allison started to think back on what had happened a couple nights ago. She wasn't there when Lydia was attacked and hadn't seen her since, She was with her aunt, and then her father and Scott. Not sure what to say to Lydia's parents Allison just nodded. "Would it be okay if I still hung around even if shes not awake yet?" She asked looking back and forth from Lydia's mother to her father.

Stiles looked at Allison and nodded before looking back at Mrs. Martin. "Yeah me too, it helps me keep a straight head knowing that she's okay..." He started to trail off noticing that he was telling her parents this. He swallowed and he looked down. He was embarrassed now, he didn't realized what he was saying before. He didn't want them to think he was creepy or obsessed. Although he was pretty much obsessed with her, but they couldn't know that!

Allison smiled a little and looked down. She knew how Stiles felt about Lydia but Lydia's parents probably didn't. She could tell that Stiles was embarrassed now. As Lydia's parents told them they could stay Allison thanked them and grabbed Stiles' arm pulling her back over to the chairs they were sitting in before. Allison sighed and sat down pulling Stiles into the seat next to her. Allison leaned closer to Stiles and spoke in a hushed whisper. "So how bad is it really? I never saw her after Peter attacked her...you did."

Stiles walked over with Allison as she grabbed his arm and she yanked his hands out of his pockets as she did so. He looked up at her after he sat down and sighed. "Pretty bad... She's not healing like she should. Scott told me that Peter said that if you don't turn, the bite kills you. I'm starting to worry." Stiles frowned and looked down at the floor shaking his head trying not to think about that. 'Lydia can't die!' he told himself, hoping that he was right.

After she finished whispering to Stiles Allison leaned back against her chair and put her hands in her lap as she crossed her legs. She looked over at Stiles frowning. 'So it really was that bad...' Allison thought to herself as she watched Stiles stare at the floor and shake his head. Sighing slowly Allison leaned forward. "She'll be okay Stiles.." Allison wasn't too sure though. she was worried too. Worried that her friend might die or turn into a werewolf. She didn't know if she could take Scott and Lydia both being werewolves. Putting her hand on Stiles shoulder she smiled lightly at him.

Stiles shook his head at Allison and sighed. "No, either way she wont be okay. She'll either be a werewolf and have all of the danger that comes along with that or..." He looked back down and frowned again." He didn't want this to be Lydia's future.

Frowning a little Allison nodded. "Yes...but even if she is a werewolf....at least she wont be..ya know. You know more about this then I do Stiles, would she still be the same Lydia?" Allison looked over towards Lydia's hospital door. She couldn't imagine Lydia as a wolf honestly.

He kept his eyes focused on the floor and shook his head. "I don't think so. Especially when she doesn't have someone here for her like Scott had you." He shrugged his shoulders shaking his head. "She won't be able to control herself, not to mention the hunters...." He stopped once he realized who he was talking to. Allison was just now finding out about this and he didn't want to make her feel worse. He sighed, "Never mind."

Sighing a little Allison looked down at the floor. Lydia kind of didn't have anyone....She was broken up with Jackson.. And the hunters, aka Allison's family, probably would go after her if she turned. Allison bit her lip a little not knowing how to reply to Stiles.

Not knowing what to sat Stiles started to stand up, he decided to go get a candy bar from the vending machine. It would take his mind off of everything and plus, he was hungry. "I'll be back.." He said to her, "Want anything from the vending machine?" He looked back at her.

Looking up at Stiles Allison nodded. "Sure, thanks" Allison looked back down as she pulled her legs up onto the chair. She started to go into a deep thinking mode. About Lydia, Scott, Her family. Everything was just so confusing now. She wasn't sure what to think, who to trust. It made her brain hurt to think about all of these things.

Stiles nodded at Allison and started to walk over to the vending machine. He was upset about everything that was going on and wanted to get distracted which food could easily do. He walked up to the machine and put some coins in and selected I, a Reese's came down and then he repeated that again to get Allison her candy. He hoped that she'd like chocolate. He took the candy and walked back over to her handing it to her and sitting down silently. He sighed and started to open the wrapper.
