Time for a little chemistry (open)

Nell walks into the classroom and sits down at one of the stations. She runs her right hand over her short hair, sighing. By now, she's accepted the fact that she'll probably never get her beautiful long hair back. She takes her notepad out of her backpack and starts doodling on it. She looks around at her classmates and wonders if she'll ever be friends with one of them. Even though she's scared to open up to someone it would be nice to have someone to hang out with.

Walking into her chemistry class Allison looks around and tries to find a seat. She was a little late so many seats were already taken. As she looked around the class Allison noticed the new girl. She had only seen her a handful of times and hadn't spoken to her yet but there was an empty seat beside her. Smiling Allison walked over and sat down next to the girl before softly saying hi and then carefully placed her text book on the desk.

Lydia noticed Allison walk into the room and watched as she sat behind a girl that she didn't recognize. She turned her attention from Allison to the unknown girl, studying her for a few moments and trying to figure out if she had seen her somewhere before. Finally concluding that she had not, she shook her head a little and gave Allison a wave and a smile before returning her attention to the front of the class.

Isaac walked into the class pretty late and just grinned at Harris as he sat down next to Lydia. "Hi there!" he said to her with that same grin and leaned over the desk on his arms

Out of the corner of her eyes, Nell noticed someone sitting down next to her. As a voice said 'hi' to her, she looked up and recognised the dark haired girl as being called Allison. She'd heard her being called that name by the people she always seemed to hang around with. "Hey!" she answered shyly and looked over at the redhead who she believed was called Lydia, before looking back at Allison. "I could swap places with your friend if you'd prefer sitting with her!" she offered hesitantly not wanting to be the reason why the two friends were separated. She didn't want to give anyone a reason to not like her.

Turning her head as Lydia walked into the room Allison smiled a bit at her before Isaac's entrance interrupted everything. Staring at him as he sat next to Lydia Allison looked down at her book. She was going to ignore Isaac at all costs and was hoping Lydia was smart enough to do the same. As Nell's voice drew Allison's attention back to her Allison smiled slightly at the girl and shook her head. "No, its fine, we concentrate better apart." Allison chuckled a little and held her hand out to Nell. "Hey I'm Allison."

Lydia shifted in her seat a bit, smiling over at Allison then bending down and going through her bag. She pulled out her textbook and a pad of paper, setting them up on the desk top and opening the book to a certain page. As Isaac sat down, she ignored him, rumaging through her pad to find where she left off.

Isaac chuckled as Lydia seemed to make a show of not acknowledging him. "Giving me the cold shoulder, are you?" he said looking over at her and started playing around with the instruments placed on the working station. He took one of the glasses filled with some yellow liquid and smelled at it.
