Meeting Stiles At the Mall (Lydia and Stiles)

This thread takes place after the events of New Skills To Impress Lydia thread. Stiles and Lydia decide to meet up at the mall.

Lydia, pulled her car into the entrance of the parking garage. She drove around the entire first floor and, to no surprise, didn't find a parking space. She pulled onto the on ramp that lead to the second floor, driving slowly to make sure that no one was walking around. She drove around the second floor, finally finding a parking space. She examined the space and concluded that her car would not fit in it because the other people had parked to close to the open space. She sighed and continued to drive, pulling onto the other on ramp and proceeding up another floor. She sighed and leaned her head against the window, wondering if she was ever going to get out of here. She stopped to let a car pull out of a space and reached into her purse to grab her phone, immediately sending a text to Stiles and explain what was taking her so long.

Luckily, Stiles found a spot easily and he smiled getting out of his car. This was going to be amazing. He was with Lydia Martin, on a....date? 'Oh my god is this a date?!' He grinned and then pulled his phone out when it buzzed. He read Lydia's text and replied -it's okay. where are you?- He sent the text and put his phone back in his pocket.

Lydia had finally pulled into the parking space she had been waiting for and pulled out her phone again. She read Stiles's text then replied -On the third tear of the parking garage. I finally found a space. Where are you?- She sent the message then placed her phone on her lap, fixing her hair and face in the review mirror. She didn't care who she was with. When in public, she would always look her absolute best.

Stiles got her text and then texted her back - stay where you are. Ill be right there.- He put his phone in his pocket and started to walk to the third level to find Lydia. He was so happy that this was happening. It was unbelievable. He grinned and finally got to the third level and searched for Lydia.

Finally happy with her reflection in the mirror, Lydia smiled at herself then grabbed her purse. She took one more look in the mirror before opening the door and beginning to exit the car. She stepped out slowly, making sure her car door didn't hit the other car, then shut it once she was clear of it. She dug into her purse to find her lip gloss, stopping at the end of her car and leaning back against it, applying her lip gloss in the reflection of her back window while she waited for Stiles.

Stiles looked around still unable to find her until he saw what appeared to be a goddess leaning against a car. He was in awe at how beautiful she looked, Although she always looked amazing. He grinned as he walked toward her. "Ready?" He smiles at Lydia and stopped in front of her. He was so excited.

Lydia quickly turned her head to see Stiles standing next to her, she gave him a small smile the got up off her car, walking in front of him. She looked at him for a few moments, and when he didn't move, she searched her mind for something to say. Finally, she looked down at her high heels and shifted all her weight to her left leg, making her right hip stick out a little. "Is there an elevator or something?" she said, returning her attention to Stiles. "Because there is no way I am walking down 3 flights of stairs in these shoes."

Stiles looked at Lydia and was going to say 'I could carry you down.' but he decided not to make a fool out of himself. "Yeah it's right over there." He pointed towards the elevator and smiled at her. He was so happy that he could barely even think.

Lydia looked over at where Stiles was pointing and finally found the elevator with her eyes. She smiled and began to walk in it's direction, motioning for Stiles to follow her. She still wasn't exactly sure what she was doing here with Stiles, but figured if he actually wanted to tag along with her while she went shopping, she wasn't going to object. She reached the elevator and pressed the down button, waiting patiently for it to arrive.

Stiles put his hands in his pockets and looked at the ground kicking his feet. He was nervous about all of this. Although, he had done this before, he helped her shop for formal dresses. It took forever but the longer he had with Lydia the better. She was amazing to him, she was perfection.

Lydia looked over at Stiles and smiled just before the elevator dinged. She then quickly looked over at the now opening doors and began to enter the elevator, she stopped right after the doors and held her arm in front of them so that they wouldn't close on Stiles, waiting for him to join her.

Stiles walked into the elevator slowly. He could tell that Lydia didn't really care about being with him but then again, a few weeks ago she never even talked to him so i guess this was better than nothing. He was going to be seen, in public with the most beautiful girl in town, Lydia Martin.

Lydia let her hand fall from between the doors and pressed the button for the ground floor. The doors closed and the music playing from the speakers in the ceiling was the only that could be heard now. She looked around, a little uncomfortable in the silence and waited for the elevator to reach the bottom.

Stiles felt awkward as the remained silent and he desperately tried to think of something to say. He could think of anything. Really? He was always talking and the moment he needed to talk most, he couldn't think of what to say. He sighed silently as they stood in silence.

As the elevator dinged to signal the ground floor, Lydia almost jumped. It had been so quiet in the elevator that the ding seemed like it was very loud. The doors opened and she slowly walked through them, flipping her hair and wrapping her purse tighter around her shoulder. As she took a few steps forward, however, she didn't hear Stiles's footsteps behind her and quickly turned her head, waiting for him to follow her.

Stiles sighed hoping this would be a good time and not too awkward. He started to space out thinking about how perfect Lydia was and he was so concentrated that he didn't even hear the elevator ding. After a little bit he got back to reality and slowly followed Lydia out of the elevator. 'Here we go.' he thought.

Lydia walked towards the parking garage exit, Stiles's silence making her slightly uncomfortable. She turned her head and looked him, giving him a small smile. "So," she began, hoping that the sound her voice through the deafening silence wouldn't startle him. "What stores do you like?" she asked, trying to start a conversation.

He looked at her and shrugged. "uhh... the uh stores that you like." He looked down putting his hands in his pockets. 'Did i seriously just say that?! Oh my god I'm such an idiot.' He looked back at her, "I mean uhhh. " He chuckled nervously and put his hands over his face.

Lydia giggled a little and pulled her purse up on her shoulder. "Seriously. What stores do you like?" she asked, looking at him. "We aren't just going to go to the stores I like you know." Reaching the exit she stopped, waiting for Stiles to answer her before they continued on and entered the mall.

"Well i guess any store with video games, or Star Wars." He replied to her hoping she wouldn't think he was a total nerd. He would admit it, he liked nerdy things but he didn't consider himself a nerd. He stopped as Lydia did and then continued on with her into the mall hoping this could be an amazing mall 'date'. The word made him extremely happy.

Lydia nodded her head at Stiles's store preferences. She certainly didn't enjoy things like that, but he was a guy so she understood why he did. "Well, lets go then." she said, motioning towards the mall and walking along with Stiles.
